Beginner Instructional Class
Our beginner instructional class starts with the absolute basics. Casting, understanding the water, fly selection, safe wading techniques and basic knot tying. This is the first lesson plan in our WNC Trout Academy. This course roughly takes 2 hours. This course is best paired with a half-day wade trip, so that learned knowledge can be implemented and good habits formed.

GUIDED TRIP POLICY: There will be no refunds on guided trips. Any cancellation within 48 hours of scheduled trip will mean a forfeiture of any and all paid funds. WNCTA will reschedule any trip up to one year from the date of the trip. If unsafe weather conditions arise on your scheduled trip, WNCTA will reschedule.
